Co.Libris is a fictional bookish app designed with the book lover in mind and at heart. It aims to provide a personalised experience akin to the one provided by the classic librarian and book shop owner using both AI and human input.

Co refers to the app’s mission to unite book worms across continents, while libris is the Latin for book. Together, these create the French and Spanish name for the hummingbird - a totem of joy, freedom, spiritual connection and resilience.

The logo consists of a hummingbird whose wing movements morph into open book pages. This communicates a rapid, easy access to a bookish community and a bubble where users are open-minded and welcoming. The little sphere at the end of the bird’s beak refers to the world and notions of unity, wholeness and endless journeys. The colour palette evokes the brand’s magic, joy, enlightenment, high energy and empathy.
